Brief

Our client reached out to Rockitfish to help plan their 50th Anniversary Celebrations. They required a hotel which could accommodate their 400 guests for a gala dinner, hotel rooms and enough space for a team build day. They wanted Rockitifsh to help find the perfect venue and help plan all aspects of their anniversary celebrations.

Solution

De Vere Beaumont Estate near Windsor was the perfect venue to host this event. With a large ballroom which can seat 450 with enough space for a stage and dancefloor along with amble outside space including the lawns and surrounding terraces.

We created an event website which outlined all the event information along with a guest registration page. A bespoke registration page allowed us to capture all the relevant information required; from rooming lists, table plans, dietary requirements and even song requests for the band.

The gala dinner began with a three course sit down meal in the Hanover Suite which had been decorated with centerpieces and ambient lighting in the brand colours.

The 4 piece band consisting of 2 pianists/singers, drums and bass got people up from their seats and onto the dancefloor. The band perform a ‘live jukebox’ where guests can send in requests for the band to play. It was a great way to finish the evening.

The following morning, guests were welcomed back into the Hanover Suite where we had organised three different team build activities. The group was split into teams of 8 people with 17 teams participating in each activity at once. After 90 minutes, the teams moved onto the next activity.

The team builds were split into three zones; creative, physical and challenging. Big picture, Quickfire and Beat the Box were the activities chosen as they fit perfectly into these zones.

The guests came back together at the end of the day to announce the winning team and reveal the final image of the big picture.
