Experiential Brand Conference
Brief
To elevate employee engagement at a specialist retail client’s annual company conference, their Visibility Team asked us to bring retail units and products to life during breakout sessions while generating real-time feedback from delegates. The brief was to engage the UK team at their annual conference in Manchester by transforming the foyer and breakout areas into interactive environments that encouraged exploration, play and discovery.
Solution
We developed a fully immersive brand activation concept centred around pop-up retail experiences with two distinct areas – a Newsagents and Vape Shop in the main foyer.
We designed and built a full-scale shops, complete with authentic frontage, merchandise, props, real life shopkeepers and a Royal Mail ‘postie’ character. The activations provided the perfect real world environment for showcasing the clients retail POS systems allowing delegates to explore the products in context during breakout sessions.
To drive engagement, we introduced a bespoke app-based bingo challenge that encouraged guests to explore the shops and unlock themed rewards, complemented by branded scratch cards offering Amazon vouchers, custom company newspapers for takeaway information, and a live leaderboard that encouraged friendly competition, with a premium prize for the top scorer.
Post-event, all feedback collected through the experiences and app interactions was compiled and shared with the Visibility Team, offering insight into perceptions of the retail units while increasing internal engagement. The activation delivered strong participation and sparked conversation, transforming standard breakout sessions into an interactive and memorable experience.
