Brief

Our client usually stages an annual event across a day and evening for their 45 staff. Due to the pandemic, we had to explore how to deliver this celebratory event online.

Solution

The day started with everyone in the kitchen participating in the ‘Culinary Games’ - a fast, fun and action-packed series of foodie challenges. We delivered packs to everyone’s homes with branded aprons, chefs hats and all the ingredients staff would need to participate. The activity filled the morning, with remote teams competing in activities such as the ‘instant cupcake’, ‘perfect yorkie pud’ and ‘chocolate truffle shuffle’.

After lunch, the team took on a remote digital challenge, competing as small groups against each other to ‘Beat The Hacker’.

With only 60 minutes on the clock teams had to work effectively using logic, problem-solving skills and their collective powers of observation to crack the code.

Finally, the group were brought together again for an evening online party. Event boxes containing essential cocktail making equipment and ingredients were sent out to guests so all they had to provide themselves were glasses and ice. Everyone then took part in an upbeat and entertaining Cocktail Masterclass lead by our mixologist and involving plenty of thrills and maybe a few spills!
