This weekend saw more than 38,000 people race past this iconic landmark of the London Marathon. Last month we had slightly fewer numbers (100) and took a little more time to appreciate the full beauty of The Cutty Sark.

Guests got to experience the world’s sole surviving tea clipper up close – and exclusively. The stunning ship was transformed from a daytime public viewing space into a nighttime private function area.

Situated in a privileged position on the banks of the Thames, the ship offers commanding views over Canary Wharf and the City of London.  Upon arrival, guests were given a guided tour of the boat – including sleeping quarters, captain’s table and decks.

The group then got to dine in the Dry Berth – sitting directly beneath the gleaming copper hull of the ship. Decorated with stunning table settings and lit sympathetically, the space offered a stunning experience in a truly unique location.
