In my role over the last 14 years, I’ve had the great fortune to spend time at many beautiful properties around the globe. Last week, I think I found one of my new favourites – right on our doorstep, in Mayfair, London.

This was my first visit to the Rocco Forte Browns Hotel in Mayfair. It’s a great option for a client who’s looking for something traditional but with a modern twist, first class service and a premium London location.

The hotel was the first in London and is steeped in history - Rudyard Kipling penned his first novel there, and his poetry appears throughout the hotel. It also has a fabulous array of modern art throughout, 117 elegant bedrooms and a stunning hand painted meeting room that can accommodate up to 30 people in a boardroom layout. 

The entire experience was first class - from arriving at the hotel, meeting the staff, viewing the function spaces and dining in their elegant Hix Restaurant. It felt like a ‘home from home’ – albeit somewhat more luxurious! 

So off the back of our visit, we’re bringing an international group to the hotel for a week in December. Expectations are high - but so is our confidence.
