These are indeed unusual times. Many, if not all of us, are being challenged on a daily basis in a way that a few weeks ago none of us could have imagined. In business, at home, with health. First and foremost we sincerely hope that you, your families, friends and colleagues are remaining in good health. We remain fully operational and the Rockitfish Team - albeit remote - remain connected, active and positive. With no live events taking place right now, we continue to work on digital and design projects for clients, help clients negotiate favourable cancellation terms with third parties, re-book postponed events for later in the year, build smarter ways of working and work on events primarily from September onwards. We’re having many conversations with clients around the effect of the current situation on the market and being asking what we’re seeing. In short, our experience so far:
- Many events beyond June currently remain in place, but under review
- Events up to July that aren't ‘outdoor, summer specific’ being postponed to later in the year
- Venue availability (globally) for events over 200 people from September onwards becoming very limited
- 2021 looking exceptionally busy
We are also working on a communication to illustrate the various tools, games and activities we have at our disposal to help you engage with your people, customers and channels during a time of enforced lockdown and remote working. We will share more with you shortly. Finally, we remain committed to all our clients, partners, associates and suppliers and have welcomed the wide number of conversations we’ve had over the last couple of weeks. Sharing the challenges we face, concerns over the immediate but positive views over the future, has proved a real tonic for all. Please keep well, keep safe and keep in touch. Yours sincerely,
