In this current age of uncertainty we’re all slowly becoming accustomed to, the thought of booking a business or motivational speaker may have been pushed some way down the priority list.

However, I believe that now is the perfect time to use this rich resource to educate, communicate, inform and motivate your team. Especially as the world we’re living in continues to bring so much change at such a pace.

I’ve been fortunate to have the opportunity to listen to a number of leading speakers over the past few weeks, including William Hague, George Osbourne, Robert Peston, Fiona Bruce and Ben Hunt-Davis. I’ve genuinely found these sessions hugely insightful and thought-provoking; taking time to hear the reflections, predictions and anecdotes of these respected and interesting individuals has provided me with a fresh perspective on what’s happening around us, how the world is changing and what we need to adapt.

In many aspects of life and business, we’re undoubtedly in unchartered territory. And who knows what the ‘new norm’ will be like and how long it will remain so…perhaps forever. It’s been clear throughout this journey that we’re in a time where change is undeniable. From my experience an inspiring speaker can have significant impact, on both individuals and businesses – they can offer a valuable perspective on the future, guide through challenging times, help to understand what is happening around us and how to adapt and come out of this in a healthy position.

Then it’s just a question of selecting the right speaker for your audience, brand and key objectives – at the right price point. Though with the advent of virtual events and speaker costs falling, it's well worth bearing in mind these authorities have become more accessible than ever.
