Comedians are becoming a popular choice for events, and I’m just off to see Josh Widdicombe’s new stand-up show, which I’m sure will be hilarious! 

Getting the right comedian to appeal to your audience is always a difficult dilemma to overcome, but also finding one within the right budget for your event.  Most clients will prefer well know comedians from the telly, however these famous acts unfortunately come with a “famous” price tag, mainly because they are having time to take out of their hectic schedules from either TV, Tour or Radio work. 

We’ve been lucky enough to have Henning Wehn, Marcus Brigstocke and Eddie Izzard on recent events which have all been fantastic, however what many fail to realise is that there is a huge abundance of emerging talent out there which are on the verge of breaking into the limelight, which also are currently at a much more reasonable cost. 

Some of these talented comedians include Matt Richardson, Chris Turner, Ivo Graham, Felicity Ward and Jess Robinson, to name but a few and all which will have crowds in stitches. The important thing to remember is just because you haven’t heard of them, doesn’t mean that they’re not funny!!
