Being appreciated and rewarded for your hard work is certainly motivating and of course it’s great to be recognised for your efforts.
What better way to say thank you than to treat your top achievers to a weekend away in an iconic destination with a programme which will wow guests and make them feel really special and truly thanked. Well, this is exactly what my client did and after going through various destinations and programme ideas, Monaco was chosen as the winning spot!
The launch of the incentive to Monaco was announced a couple of months before take-off which gave our winners a final burst of motivation to exceed in their sales and win themselves a seat on the plane.
Before all this happened, months of close planning with my clients took place going through every detail from choosing menus, design work, a website, site visit, timings and finally the rush of the registrations when the winners were finally announced only three weeks before.
I love to make sure every detail is covered when planning the incentive to Monaco from the very first moment my guests meet at Heathrow right back to when we say our goodbyes on our return (including going back to the plane to collect left passports!). It’s so important to make sure that my guests who don’t travel often feel they can ask any questions at any time right from when they register, before we go and also whilst away.
Meticulous planning and touch points to work through beforehand are crucial in delivering a slick experience right down to the smallest of things like a swift check in on arrival, making sure all dietary requirements are met for each meal and to make sure they top up with the sun cream whilst out and about!
For me, the biggest reward is seeing the reactions from my guests - in particular in Monaco I will never forget the gasps of amazement as we pulled up outside the hotel (which was pretty impressive!) and the buzz of excitement on the Saturday as they boarded the brand new catamaran we had chartered privately for the day, just for them.
Delivering a once in a lifetime incentive is such a gratifying feeling when you get such complimentary comments and feedback thanking you for what has been an exceptional weekend away for them. Getting to experience it with them and see all the hard work and planning all slot into place is what makes organising events a real pleasure, despite the long hours at times!
