I've just returned from the most incredible company trip to Argentina and I cannot wait to take our clients there next year. We’ve already experienced the amazing wonders of Iceland, so expectations are high, and Argentina is the perfect destination for their next trip.

We'll be going in summer to enjoy the hot weather whilst exploring the eclectic city of Buenos Aires and its surrounding beauty, enjoying traditional entertainment and incredible food.

A city tour is the perfect way to explore the different neighbourhoods of Buenos Aires, each with its own character and appeal. From the bustling markets at San Telmo to the colourful buildings of La Boca and green parks of Palermo, this city has pockets of influences from around the world. You can explore on foot, by bicycle, or we can even hire a vintage bus. On my first day looking for venues I visited 5 restaurants, 2 coffee shops, a rooftop bar and a football stadium. Football is huge in Argentina, with murals of Messi and Maradona all over the city, and the Boca Juniors stadium museum is well worth a visit. In contrast, the Recoleta cemetery is unlike anything I've ever seen before. This eerily beautiful place is home to thousands of statues, coffins and crypts commemorating some of Argentina’s most influential people, not least Eva "Evita" Perón.

Outside of the city is where the real Argentina shines. I went to meet the most welcoming family who own a ranch that showcases the traditional Gaucho way of life. Here, guests can enjoy a demonstration of Gaucho skills on horseback and also a thrilling game of polo. There’s plenty of food and drink on offer too, including a hearty lunch cooked on an open fire. An entertaining folklore show may get people up dancing, and there’s an inviting outdoor pool if guests want to cool off and relax. The hospitality is unmatched; from the minute you arrive you will be warmly welcomed and transported into this fascinating culture, deeply rooted in the rural lifestyle of the Argentine countryside.

Another treasure just 45 minutes from the city is the Tigre Delta. Here you can take a boat trip along the Paraná River to admire the natural beauty and bird life of this incredible country. A complete change from the city, you can explore an island, take a guided walk, kayak, or enjoy some mindfulness activities amidst the most peaceful surroundings.

The people of Argentina were so friendly and welcoming, proud of their mixed heritage and the architecture built from that. The meat and grill restaurants are plentiful and the portions generous, but you'll also find Italian restaurants, great sushi spots, and an array of coffee shops offering delicious cakes and pastries. I really can't describe what an amazing destination this is for incentive groups. Despite it being a 13-hour flight from Europe, most flights are overnight, and the time difference from the UK is only 3 or 4 hours.

When we return, our incentive trip winners will enjoy alfresco dining, tours, activities, and memorable experiences showcasing authentic Argentina. Take a look at a few more sample itineraries here, the World is our oyster!
