The Brief: High-Impact Recognition & Celebration for 450 Corporate Guests

After another year of significant growth for the Group, the Board wanted to stage an event that not only recognised high performance but also helped integrate recently acquired businesses into the wider company culture.

Key Event Requirements: A Pacey & Varied London Evening

The client required a venue in London that could comfortably accommodate 450 people for dinner, dancing, and socialising. The primary challenge was crafting a fast-paced, multi-faceted evening that seamlessly blended a business update and formal awards ceremony with a vibrant end-of-year party.

The Solution: Iconic Blank-Canvas Production & Three-Zone Transformation

1. Venue Selection: The Iconic Alexandra Palace

To deliver a memorable departure from previous venues, Rockitfish selected the iconic Alexandra Palace in North London, famous for hosting the world's first television broadcast. With its sweeping panoramic views of the city and vast "blank canvas" space, it provided the perfect backdrop for a high-energy celebration.

2. Spatial Design & Architectural Lighting

To maximise the grand hall's scale, we utilised dramatic architectural lighting to highlight the historic steel latticework across the roof. Custom lighting structures and distinct visual effects were then deployed to divide the massive space into three dedicated experiential zones.

3. Three-Zone Layout & Multi-Stage Evening

Presentation & Dining Zone: Positioned at the front of the West Hall, this area featured a large, custom-built stage set to host the pacey business update, award presentations, and formal dinner.
Retro Lounge Bar: A stylish, dedicated area featuring retro lighting setups, comfortable lounge furniture, and bespoke bars for casual socialising and networking between integrated teams.
High-Energy Club Area: A dynamic party space outfitted with a central DJ booth, screens, lasers and effect lighting, and an LED dancefloor that kept guests celebrating late into the night
