The Details

A crime scene is set up; grisly or otherwise! Guests are divided into CSI teams. Each team has their own briefing file, which contains everything they need to know about the investigation.

Teams are also given a forensic kit, masks and gloves. After kitting up it is time for the investigation to commence!

Your task is to investigate the crime and use forensics to establish what the motive is and how the murder took place. What evidence connects the suspect(s) to the crime scene?

These methods employed by real Crime Scene Investigators include:

• Fingerprinting
• DNA analysis
• Forensic dentistry
• Hair & fibre analysis
• Constructing photo fits using FBI software
• Blood spatter pattern analysis
• Ballistic examination (bullets)

Once the evidence has been collated teams present their findings and prizes can be awarded to the winning teams.
