The chosen London venue required a strict capacity for up to 1,000 guests, with ample square footage to accommodate a live band, a large dancefloor, experiential catering stations, and interactive entertainment. Additionally, the client requested a highly memorable design featuring multiple dedicated photo opportunities throughout the space.

The Solution: An Immersive Dual-Floor Wonderland Experience

1. Venue Selection: 8 Northumberland Avenue, London

To bring this large-scale vision to life, Rockitfish selected 8 Northumberland Avenue, a premier blank-canvas central London venue capable of hosting 1,000 attendees. We transformed this versatile space using an elaborate "Alice in Wonderland" theme, providing the ultimate scope for creative production, bespoke styling, and immersive storytelling.

2. Dual-Zone Theming & Immersive Decor

To maximize the venue's layout, guests were split across two distinct, heavily themed floors. The grand upstairs ballroom was styled as an elegant, dramatic Queen of Hearts Ball. In contrast, the downstairs Old Billiard Room and Annexe featured a whimsical Wonderland setting filled with wacky props, from giant toadstools to towering teacups. For social sharing, guests could pose in front of a giant artificial grass feature wall and walk beneath a heart-shaped, rose-covered archway.

The Alice in Wonderland theme was woven directly into the food and beverage production through interactive catering elements:
