Conference Retreat, Mallorca
Brief
Our client reached out to us to help organise a company overseas retreat for their group of 55 employees. The company had grown considerably in the past few years and they came to realise that most of the team hadn't actually met in person. It was our challenge to the find the perfect mix of activities and content to ensure business objectives were met including extensive networking across the group. They quickly decided a destination in Spain would meet all their objectives.
Solution
There's something magical about the island of Mallorca, Spain. Its golden shores, sapphire waters, and rugged landscapes gives everything travellers need. Our client chose this island to host their event over five days with the hope of lots of experiences and growth for every individual.
It was important to ensure the group were able to network every morning, get outdoors every afternoon and wind down with an off-site dinner. The luxurious hotel Elba Sunset, provided us with accommodations and served as our conference and networking space. Against the backdrop of the gentle sea, the group gathered to network, strategize, and share insights.
Mallorca offered plenty of offsite activities that catered to every taste and preference started with an adrenaline rush of afternoon paintballing, followed by an adventure through the Palma city treasure hunting, along with smaller team activities of kayaking, walk/bike tours and quad excursion – this provided the perfect opportunity for the group to bond.
As the retreat was drawing to an end, the group gathered for a grand finale—a private beachside restaurant for their awards night. They celebrated their business achievements, toasted to new friendships and shared notes on a great trip.
