Mardi Gras Themed Party
Brief
Our Cambridge-based software client, eager to celebrate the end of lockdown with an exciting, memorable event, sought an uplifting experience filled with vibrant colors and a lively atmosphere for their team. They wanted something that would stand out—an energetic festival to capture the spirit of global celebrations. With this vision in mind, we crafted their very own "PartyGras" festival, drawing inspiration from a variety of world festivals to create a one-of-a-kind, immersive experience for their 300 guests.
Solution
As guests arrived for pre-dinner drinks, they were welcomed by the festive sounds of a live steel band and greeted by costumed stilt-walkers dancing to the beat, instantly transporting them into the joyful spirit of PartyGras. In the main dining room, we transformed the space with vibrant, colorful draping and bunting, with a captivating central display on the stage designed to immediately grab guests’ attention upon entry.
Instead of traditional round tables, we arranged long banquet tables, which not only set this event apart from previous ones but also enhanced the festival atmosphere and encouraged a more communal and interactive dining experience. To elevate the visual appeal, each table featured giant pixel-feather centerpieces, programmed to change colors throughout the evening, adding a dynamic and playful element to the room. Around the perimeter, large, illuminated palm trees added to the tropical festival vibe, creating a stunning, immersive backdrop.
The highlight of the night was a series of electrifying performances designed to dazzle and entertain. A high-energy LED drummer, Capoeira dancers, Pixel Poi artists, and a lively samba dance troupe kept guests engaged and captivated. Once dinner and these mesmerizing acts concluded, the renowned RPJ Band took to the stage, delivering an uplifting closing set that got everyone dancing and ended the evening on a high note.
This unforgettable festival brought together the excitement of global celebrations with unique, personalized touches, providing an extraordinary experience for all 300 guests.
