Brief
We were given strict instructions to create a fun skiing program to reward our clients' top performers with a 5* experience, indulging them in a luxury retreat with a mix of fun and cultural activities and dining options.

With that in mind, and the proposed incentive month as January there was no question about it, we were taking them to the Alps. With an office in Munich, Kitzbühel, which is just a 2 hour drive away, was the perfect location. We secured accommodation in the stunning Hotel Kitzhof Mountain Design Resort, set in a traditional chalet in the Austrian alps. On arrival they were greeted with a limitless welcome lunch, after which they headed out with our Austrian guide and Bella (his dog) to the Schwarzee games. Private transfers took them to Schwarzee lake which provided a beautiful backdrop for competitive activities. Guests were split intoteams and battled it out in a series of traditional Austrian games including nailing and sawing, giant skis and snowshoe obstacle races, archery and some snow golf too. Day one was rounded off in a wonderful local Schnitzel restaurant.
Day 2 everyone was geared up and ready to hit the slopes, with some of the group heading out for Cross Country skiing, a group of first timers taking on their very first ski lesson and a third group hitting the mountain for a guided refresher ski lesson. Lunch was taken at leisure followed by a well deserved spa afternoon or après on the mountain at bei Tomschy.
Dinner on night two was at Mocking Das Wirtshaus, serving family style, seasonal foam soup, a ‘Mocking pan’ in the middle of fried chicken and potato dumplings or filled Pasta pockets ‘Tyrolean style’ for the vegetarians and finished off with a traditional Austrian dessert of gratinated curd pancakes in vanilla sauce. It was smiles all round from guests. The after dinner après in Kitzbühel doesn’t disappoint either with guests enjoying live music and DJs in the likes of the Londoner, Jimmy’s and Club Take-Five.
First lifts were taken by our beginners for their final morning lesson and they were blessed with a beautiful blue bird, which helped entice others out too. The rest took a leisurely morning, late check out and enjoyed the hotel spa facilities for one last day. Everyone caught up again for a farewell lunch before private transfers back to Munich with an office drop off and flights back to the UK.
