Brief

This was the fourth consecutive year we were asked to create an overseas incentive travel programme for our client. The destination had to appeal to a young and energetic group of high performers and be within a 3 hour flight from the UK.

Solution

Lisbon’s attraction was varied, including a wide selection of engaging experiences, a flourishing restaurant and hotel scene and a fantastic climate.

The group stayed at the very smart, stylish and central BessaLiberdade Hotel – perfectly matched to the audience and perfectly located for travel by foot across Lisbon’s hot spots.

On the first evening, guests took to Tuk-Tuks for a Craft Beer Experience around central Lisbon – a great opportunity for them to get their bearings (and for some lose them pretty quickly) before stopping for a private dinner at one of the fashionable restaurants housed within the historic industrial complex, the LX Factory.

The following day, the group headed to the coast - to Sesimbraand the Arrabida National Park. This was the day for fun and adventure. Guests had the choice of 3 activities - coasteering, kayaking and a Jeep Safari. Lunch – and recovery - was at a private beach, before waiting speedboats whisked them back along the coastline.

The final evening is always a special one and in Lisbon we had the run of a private palace – Palacio Virtvs.

The venue offered opulent surroundings and stunning views of the Lisbon skyline. But naturally, some would want to party on, so a private area was pre-arranged at the hugely popular Urban Beach nightclub.
