Brief
With significant company growth since their last event the aim was to celebrate this success and bring the whole company together, many of whom were meeting for the first time. Key was to create a vibrant summer party for 300 people with food, drinks, live music and activities. With an HQ in London and factory near Doncaster, a mid-point location with a relaxed feel and lots of outdoor space was required.
Solution
The experience started long prior to the event with the development of a bespoke event brand identity that carried through from invite, website and registration platform to onsite items such a large festival flags, festival wristbands and bespoke games.
A high spec Sperry tent with hardwood flooring and festoon lighting canopy provided the perfect area for a mix of seating, bar and much needed shade.
A wooden decking area with low-level seating, framed by festoon lighting, led to the main arena featuring the Stage Box. Guests were treated to a variety of street food, unlimited candyfloss and popcorn. Music ran across the day with a modern barbershop-style fourpiece, wandering band, DJ and party covers band.
A range of vintage style hand painted games were enjoyed at leisure, as they would be if guests were walking around a festival site. Face glitter and flower crown making gave guests the true festival look, which they could then capture in the Black Taxi Photobooth. They were entertained by wandering circus acts and a magician, and also had the opportunity to take in the whole event from the giant Ferris Wheel. Or if looking for a higher speed thrill guests could take a turn on the Waltzers. There truly was something for everyone.
