Wonder Island Party & Awards
Brief
We were tasked with creating an evening of festive entertainment for our client's Head Office Team of 850 people. As guests would be celebrating virtually this year, the organisers wanted to make it extra special with surprise acts and entertainers. It was also important to our client, that the event was branded and felt personal to them.
Solution
Our team designed a bespoke agenda to include a cocktail making masterclass, festive quiz, magic act (TV magician, Troy), comedy performance (Simon Brodkin, AKA Lee Nelson) and ‘best dressed award show’.
As part of this our in-house designer created branded cocktail recipe cards and fully-customised the quiz presentation and app platform to give it that extra wow factor for guests.
To ensure the event ran smoothly, the Rockitfish team were joined by Zoom support technicians who managed the content sharing and breakout room functionality, giving participants the opportunity to network in smaller groups.
To keep the excitement going throughout the evening, we organised for a celebrity host, Marcel Somerville (Love Island), to introduce the various acts and give some special ‘shout outs’ to employees nominated by their colleagues. Guests were then able to enjoy a DJ set which was the final element of the event.
After the event had taken place Rockitfish arranged for prizes and vouchers to be sent out to the best dressed participants and quiz team winners.
