For this project, we were tasked with the exciting challenge of theming our clients office and getting it ready for a special launch event. The event would showcase new app ‘Gravity’ and provide an immersive experience for their 300 guests. The clients team were keen that the theme be futuristic and incorporate brand colours throughout, from the guest entrance to the catering area, stage and demo rooms. At initial enquiry, we were given a mood board for inspiration and invited to share creative solutions that would wow guests and provide plenty of social media opportunities.
We focused on creating unique installations in different spaces around the venue, that fit with the concept of ‘Gravity’. In the stage room we built a balloon installation, designed to make the presentation screen appear as if it were floating on a cloud. In the demo room we constructed a 3-wall pod made of 9ft video screens with themed content, projectors and up-lit plinths.
A lighting show was also co-ordinated during on-stage performances, to add to the atmosphere and create a party-like feel. To reach a wider audience the presentations and entertainment were live streamed on YouTube, giving the opportunity to share the event experience with their online community.
For those guests that were on-site, we ensured that there was a variety of food and drink on offer. This included Vietnamese & Mexican street food, doughnut wall and ice cream rolls. We also had an 8-metre mirror bar with mixologists serving beer, wine and soft drinks plus showstopper cocktail, flaming ‘Pina Punch’!
